When I think about flashcards, Quizlet springs to my mind as I am a big fan of flashcards and use Quizlet often for different flashcard sets. I love studying, practicing, improving my learning as well as teaching abilities with the flashcards on Quizlet. I believe various flashcards with various subjects on Quizlet make studying enjoyable and fun, but what exactly is Quizlet doing beyond these flashcards? What is it for? So, before I start to talk about how I'm using Quizlet as a student and creating my own study flashcards, I'm going to introduce Quizlet and explain the great features of Quizlet in detail to you!

Quizlet has over 150 million flashcard sets on hundreds of various topics! Besides, it has different features to make your studying and work fun and interesting.

In Quizlet, you have great ways to improve your skills and push yourself out of your comfort zone. You can: • Reach different categories that are easy to find. • Study or search for whatever you want. • Learn or teach in your way and find your unique teaching & learning style. • Play and enjoy various games while revising your topics. • Find all kinds of a test as they are available.

• You can use Quizlet by searching the topics that you want to study and revise or creating different sets of flashcards based on your study topics without downloading it!

• You can add images, terms, definitions, questions, answers, and notes to your cards to create your own unique set if you have a Quizlet Plus or Quizlet Teacher subscription. Besides, you can also add your images from the free image gallery.

• After searching or creating the study sets, you can study in different ways as Quizlet has seven study modes that help students review the topics and find their best learning style.

Flashcards are quick ways to study terms and definitions of topics. Flashcard study mode helps you to revise these terms and definitions while provides you questions and answers for any topics.

Learn – is the personalized study mode that shows you how well you know the information in a study set and how well you are prepared for the topic to revise and memorize.

Write study mode is the fill-in-the-blank study tool and is a way of helping learners to check their understanding of the words better.

Spell is a study mode that makes you write or type the correct version of a term or definition.

Test is a study mode to quiz yourself on how well you know information in a flashcard set. By completing different versions of study models in the study mode, such as multi-option questions, mathcing section, and true-false questions, you can practice your skills in various ways.

Match is a time-based game where you must match terms and definitions in time.

Gravity is a level-based game where you must answer the question correctly before being hit by a meteor rock, or asteroid.

You can share your own set with anyone in various ways, such as email, Gmail, social media applications and, apps. • You can also create classes on the Quizlet to share content with a specific group of your students.

Wherever you want, you can take it everywhere! They are so many things that Quizlet provides you to improve, and when it comes to teaching and learning skills, how does Quizlet provide these skills? 🔅My Study Flashcards on Quizlet

I created a flashcard set on Quizlet for English Literature Class and put some Literary Elements terms and definitions which help learners to analyze the short story better also provide them to basic literary devices in English literature. While studying and revising these English Literary flash-cards, learners can learn different terms, improve their English literature vocabulary level, and have a rich vocabulary. The flashcards that I created my study set for mainly Advanced-Level students who take English Literature class at the university.

I prepared my flashcards based on the definition and elements of English Literature.

I put ''Ask yourself Questions'' after the one specific literary term to test the knowledge out, see how it's going, and the success rate at recalling the features of a word. In these flashcards, I asked some questions about the PLOT literary term and put one reflection question to evaluate the performance progress.

I also put some ''Key Words'' that provide the translation of words, and a better literary content & rich vocabulary of terms and definition for learners by giving the better understanding of the topic.

I put the ''Summary'' Section where I used some keywords for making learners recall and have an idea of that specific word.
