Hi, lovely people on the Internet! I'm back with another blog. Today's topic is Infographic: an amazing visualization tool that helps people use their creativity and create beautiful content by providing some inspirations! I'm excited to talk about Infographic, my Quizlet infographics and my review on it!
๐Ÿ’  What is Infographic?
Infographic is a visual representation tool that displays creativity and delivers visual communication by providing creative contents and striking inspiration ideas! An infographic represents information, data and specific topics visually as it is a collection of iamges, symbols, charts, texts, fonts that gives the overall message of a topic. The main goal of an infographic is that providing information by attracting attention & building compherension skills with amazing visual boards! Actually, this is where Infographic's name came from: Information + Graphic = Infographic What a creative idea! :)
๐Ÿ’  Reasons to Use Infographics In your Classroom
Infographics help you to explain Complex Topics & make the topic Easy to Compherend: Infographics make complex & complicated topics easier to digest! When you have difficul contents & subjects to explain your classroom, you can create various infographics by using spectacular images, symbols, graphics, charts and more to provide your content in the easiest way. By using infograpics in your classroom, you can make the topic look simple and student-friendly, grab the attention of your students and encourage them to contribute to the topic while having fun and being informed.
Infographics raise Awareness about a topic & provide an Overview of the topic: Infographics are able to make learners realize the importance and details about the topics, as sometimes students find it hard to compherend a whole subject/topic and focus on the general information only. By using relevant information in your infographics with various images, logos, creative pages, you can display the information totally and increase your students' interest in the topic!
๐Ÿ’  Some Types of Infographics: Statistical infographics - Informational infographics - Timeline infographics - Process infographics - Geographic infographics - Comparison infographics - Hierarchical infographics - List infographics - Resume infographics. ๐Ÿ’  My Own Experience with Infographics: Informal & Formal Language and Words
I used ''EdWordle'' and ''Canva'' to create my Infographics about Informal & Formal Language and Words. (https://www.canva.com/ & http://www.edwordle.net/index.html#) I wanted to show the difference between informal and formal language by comparing them in my infographics! I also gave some examples of Informal & Formal words as they are a lot of commonly confused words in English language and words (Formal and Informal). Here are the Infographics that I created:
Here's the link for the infographic that I created with Canva: https://www.canva.com/design/DAEUJOVDmBk/7p6zdCACFjtWzkz5EJsQtA/view?utm_content=DAEUJOVDmBk&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=publishsharelink For detailed information, you can check out this great video about making Infographics!
